Getting Started

Everything Bear is a marketplace website selling products from numerous vendors. We don't have any fees to sign up. We charge a commission on any placed orders.

Standard commission rates are 10%. Different rates may be applied on a per category or per vendor basis.

This covers all credit card transaction fees and operating costs.

After creating your vendor profile, you are able to connect payment information with Stripe. Alternatively we can handle payments offline.

Everything Bear collects all payments for the order. Once you update your order with shipping information, we will disperse funds to your account via the method you've configured in your account.

Bringing the vendor market model from various bear events to the online commerce space, Everything Bear is the only online marketplace catering to the bear community.

We have experience both with online stores and as fellow vendors at various events around the US. We're committed to using our skills and expertise to help your business be successful selling online.


Each vendor gets their own product listings and can set their own prices. Some vendor may source and sell the same products. In this case, multiple listings will be made for those products. Every product shows which vendor it's sold by.

Adding your products is easy after logging in to your vendor account.

Simply go to the Product section and click on the Add Product button.

There are multiple options for how you can add your products:

  • Add products individually through a form
  • Add products in bulk via a CSV file
  • Connect to a Shopify store to synchronize products

After you add your products, our admin team is notified and will review your product. Once approved, your product will be live on the store and available for sale.

You can make future edits to your approved products (such as for inventory updates) without requiring approval.

Due to restrictions with our payment providers, certain types of products are not allowed in our marketplace. Here is a list of prohibited items:

Counterfeit or unauthorized goods

Unauthorized sale or resale of brand name or designer products or services; sale of goods or services that are illegally imported or exported

Regulated products and services

Marijuana dispensaries and related businesses; alcohol or alcoholic beverages; sale of tobacco, e-cigarettes, or accessories including e-juice or e-liquid; online pharmacies or pharmacy referral services; age restricted goods or services; weapons and munitions; gunpowder and other explosives; fireworks and related goods; toxic, flammable, and radioactive materials; products and services with varying legal status on a state-by-state basis

Adult content and services

Pornography and other obscene materials (including literature, imagery and other media). Sites offering any sexually-related products or services such as prostitution, massage parlours, dating-services, companion/escort services; international match-making and mail-order brides; pay-per view, adult live chat or call features; child pornography, fetish gear and services including S&M paraphernalia; hard-core sexually oriented products and services; sex shows, sex clubs, topless bars, strip shows, and other adult entertainment; widgets that allow you to access pornography or pornographic ads

Drug paraphernalia

Any equipment designed for making or using drugs, such as bongs, vaporizers, and hookahs

Pharmaceuticals or Pseudo pharmaceuticals

Pharmaceuticals and other pseudo-pharmaceutical products that make health claims (e.g. retinol creams, lash growth serums, products containing hyaluronic acid, etc.) and medical devices

Substances designed to mimic illegal drugs

Sale of a legal substance that provides the same effect as an illegal drug (e.g., salvia, kratom)


Each vendor will be able to set up shipping costs for their orders. This can be configured as either Free Shipping, or a Flat Rate based on certain rules. You can configure the rates based on the product, or the destination. Multiple rules can be created.

When a customer places an order, rules for all matching products/vendors are totaled up and they are charged. The amount you specify for shipping is sent along with the funds for the order once an order is marked fulfilled.

After someone purchases one of your products, you will receive an email at the address you signed up with notifying you of the order. Additionally, all orders of your products will show in your Vendor Dashboard under both the Activity section and the Orders section.

If a customer purchased products from multiple vendors on one order, you will only see the details of the products you sell in your dashboard. Vendors cannot see order details from other vendors.


Our goal here at Everything Bear is to help your business be a success. While we strongly encourage all of our vendors to do as much marketing on their own to their products on Everything Bear that they can, we also work to help drive traffic and sales.

  • Regularly updated "Featured Products" listing on home page
  • Weekly updated "Featured Vendor" showcase on home page
  • Regular updates to social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram about products, sales, new vendors, etc.
  • Email newsletters to subscribers about products, sales, new vendors, etc.
  • Blog posts about new vendors
  • And more!
